The second edition of global startup competition Hello Tomorrow (#HTC2015) has opened for applications. African startups are also invited to apply for the chance to win a EUR200,000 prize.
The #HTC2015 is dedicated to innovative technologies, and will reward the best project “in search of major sectors of tomorrow’s economy”.
The competition is open for startups and research projects which are based on an innovative technology, less than two years old and with less than EUR250,000 in funding.
The winning startup will walk away with the EUR100,000 grand prize and six runners-up with EUR15,000 each.
“In 2014, we organised the first edition of the Hello Tomorrow Challenge, a global competition of tech startups in Europe and the “First Day of Tomorrow” Conference, which gathered more than 1,500 participants at “La Cité des Sciences” in Paris on April 2014,” Hello Tomorrow said.
The first edition of the Hello Tomorrow Challenge last year saw 1,200 applicants from 44 countries. The current application window is open until February 28.
