The main Senegalese operator, Sonatel opened the first edition of the Orange Money forum dedicated to issues and challenges of mobile payment in Senegal and Africa on Wednesday, October 2. Scheduled to last for two days the meeting aims to create a framework for dialogue between the different actors that revolve around daily transactions by mobile in Senegal.
During the opening session of the Forum, Ms. Diop Gnagna Sow, Technical Advisor, representing the Minister of Economy and Finance has expressed “great pleasure that the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) has to participate in the first forum organized by Sonatel. ” “The theme of the meeting is particularly interesting to us as officials, including the preparation and implementation of laws and regulations in the field of mobile money. “
