The war between Google and Microsoft is now over. Microsoft has announced that the YouTube will be available on Windows Phone. The app designed by Microsoft was withdrawn after Google condemned a user’s ability to download the videos and to not see the advertisements on the app. All seems to have fallen back into place with the new version that was launched with Google‘s approval.
YouTube for Windows Phone also brings several new features such as voice search. This function is to be used hands free or when your eyes cannot look in the phone’s direction (for example while driving). Microsoft also allows access to playlists, uploads and managing your YouTube page from your smartphone.
Would this make you want to get close with Windows Phones?
