Edward SNOWDEN has been offered a job at Vkontakte, the Russian Facebook. Wanted in the United States for espionage after making revelations regarding Prism, SNOWDEN has received partial asylum for the duration of one year in Russia, with the possibility of getting employed.
Pavel DUROV, founder of the Russian social network posted on his Vkontakte page, “I invite Edward to St. Petersburg and will be happy if he decides to join up a stellar team of programmers at VK“.
“In the end, there is no more popular European internet company than VK. I think Edward might be interested in aiding the protection of personal data of millions of our users,” he added.
