MTN Nigeria has launched a competition geared towards developers from July 24th to October 24th. The competition will be broken down into several categories varying from productivity games to entertainment, lifestyle to education and health. The competition is looking to provide content that is tailored to the Nigerian mobile users.
MTN Nigeria’s Chief Marketing Officer, Larry ANNETTS has stated that the “initiative represents a tangible and credible platform to make our brand promise a reality as well as promote the growth and use of locally relevant content, which would help develop the Nigerian ecosystem.”
The grand winners of the competition will receive a Hyundai IX35, the equivalent of $6,222 in cash as well a six month promotion on the MTN Next Apps Store and a Samsung Galaxy S4.
