The arrival of the American president on Senegalese soil is the topic that greedily took over the Senegalese web. Indeed, when the netcitizens aren’t talking about his charisma or his point of view on the decriminalization of homosexuality in Senegal, they are talking about the Instagram account, recently created by the First Lady that documents the highlights of the Presidential family’s trip on the motherland.
In the mist of security measures surrounding the American President (often perceived as excessive by the Senegalese populace), the sudden slow-down and unstable internet connection seem to have been amputated by the highest world authority.
As his stay in Senegal is coming to an end, some (rightfully or not) will not be sad to see the man occupying the White House leave as they are hoping to recuperate their full bandwidth back….
