The German firm Rimowa and network T-Mobile baptised their innovation Bag2Go (were you expecting iLuggage too?)
Humbly presented as a luggage reinvention, the system is equipped with sensors and an RFID chip which will enable it to perform tasks such as self weigh-in of the luggage’s content, or even communicate with the registration system of several flying companies.
The coolest feature we found was the ability you’d have, thanks to an iPhone application. to check the location of your luggage or to be informed if your suitcase has been opened. You will never be stunned to find your luggage emptied out of your precious belongings.
According to the site Arstechnica.com, Airbus has announced that the smart luggage will be slightly more expensive than a regular suitcase.
