Rwanda: MTN Goes Door-to-Door to Get New Subscribers

In many African countries identifying all mobile users through their SIM card is a priority. It is in the optic that MTN Rwanda has decided to go door-to-door!

According to Norman MUNYAMPUDU, senior customer operations manager at MTN, the campaign is aiming for the registration of 30% of the 3.5 million MTN subscribers who have failed to register their SIM cards.

“We want to register our clients and push them mobilize others to do the same before the deadline fixed at the end of July,” MUNYAMPUDU.

In order to make sure that the campaign is successful, while reducing the number of lost subscribers, all those who fail to register their SIM cards will be banned from the network after July 31st  2013.
